Tell Onge what kind of conversation you want.
You might say, “I’d like to vent for a while,” or “Please just listen before responding.” You can also change your mind during the session and ask for a personal perspective. The aim is a respectful exchange that follows your pace.
Keep others’ privacy in mind.
You can describe a situation without sharing another person’s full name, private messages, financial information or confidential work documents. A broad outline is often enough for a conversation.
Venting still has boundaries.
Frustration is a topic you can talk about. Harassment, threats, abuse, discrimination and sexualised interaction are not part of the service. A session may be ended if boundaries are violated.
Listening is not professional advice.
Onge does not provide clinical counselling or medical, legal or financial guidance. If the situation requires professional help, contact an appropriately qualified service. This is not a channel for urgent or emergency information.
